I got to meet my adorable niece and see my nephew this week. (He totally said I’m his favorite aunt! Granted, I’m not sure he knew what he was saying yes to, but it still counts because my sister-in-law said I really probably am. My sisters live far away or work more than I do and her sisters are busy with their families. That means I am the best that kid’s got.)
They are just so damn cute and both of them totally got my brother’s mega-long lashes.
Their other grandma found a clown nose in the car and Spencer just thought it was the best thing ever.
My sister-in-law said none of the Mormon stores had fluffy enough blessing dresses, so she went to the Catholic store, where she found this mega-poof dress. It kind of looks like a lacy, sparkly, feathery cupcake with a baby head on top.
And the kiddo found something to play with in my purse.

My first thought when reading this is, she happened to find a random clown nose in the car? Lol I don’t know if I’ve ever gone through my car and been like, “Oh! There’s a clown nose..” Lol
It was my sister-in-law’s mom. Not sure why she randomly had a clown nose in her car…
Holy crap that dress is poofy!!! Does it really have the fake boa thingy on it? They are way cute kids (*stifling baby hungry comment here — stupid three year program) and you look good with the clown nose.
It’s a feather trimmed sheer jacket thing.
And totally about the baby thing. My sister and I agreed that having kids would not be so scary if we knew they would turn out all nice and low key like these ones. When I’m around them, my ovaries are all, “Okay, I can do that.” But then when I am around most kids, they’re like, “RUN AWAY!”
Dang ovaries having a mind of their own. =)
Gotta love those Catholics, they sure know how to make poofy dresses. For my baptism though, I wore the same gown my dad did when he was baptized, so it was neither poofy or fluffy or had a feather jacket. Damn you family heirlooms.
Haha. That baby is totally drowning in that dress. Cute.
